Erik and Erica's destination wedding to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico {Portland Wedding Photographer}

I have known Erica for almost a decade, photographing her family every year during for the holidays. It has been an absolute joy watching her kiddos grow, and each year I thanked the universe for such a wonderful family for clients. Early last year, Erica messaged me with the fabulous news she got engaged and asked if I’d be interested in photographing her wedding in Mexico. She barely finished that sentence as I let out a resounding “oh absolutely yes of course I’ll be there!”.

August rolled around and I happily packed up my cameras and headed down to Cabo San Lucas. This was my second International wedding, but first in a long long long while, and first in a tropical-y destination

The wedding was held in a private residence and was the perfect beachside location. The house was bustling with family and friends getting ready in their own rooms, the love and excitement absolutely palpable everywhere.

Erica and Erik being surrounded by so much love made me well up with emotion as they said “I DO” by those stunning turquoise waters and danced the night away on the terrace of that house with all their friends. I’m so grateful to have been the one to capture their wedding, and I’ll treasure clients like this that want me to document their life events. So much love and gratitude all around.
