Family portraits during family vacations {Family portrait photographer}

Now the kids are out of school it’s time to hit the road for a family vacation!

In planning your summer trip, wherever that may be, have you ever thought about having professional portraits taken? When I lived in Santa Monica I had new clients connect with me during their vacation from all over the world; from the couple from Georgia who came to SoCal for a beach side wedding ceremony since same sex weddings were not legal (and side note, that was so much fun, there were 4 of us, the two of them, the officiant and myself! I had another couple from Germany who came all the way to Santa Monica for their beachside wedding, the couple from Tennessee who spent their 25th wedding anniversary frolicking (yeah, we all frolicked and we had a blast!) on the beach for their anniversary portraits. I met even more amazing people who came to the South Bay for their family portraits or like the beautiful Mama-to-be from Russia who came to Manhattan Beach with her hubby for a baby moon. She had a fabulous dress, bought locally and met me under the Manhattan Beach pier for the most stunning maternity portraits.

If you’re hitting the road this summer, think about having your portraits taken by a local photographer, what a great way to document this summer together. Who knows how many summers you have together before the kiddos go off to college and stop coming home for the summer.
